Donald Romano, Psy.D. (Post Doctoral Candidate)
Donald Romano, Psy.D. earned both his Master’s and Doctoral Degrees from Midwestern University’s APA accredited clinical psychology program in Downers Grove, Illinois. He obtained his clinical training in psychology at Winfield Woods Heath Care Center, Holy Family Medical Center’s Keys to Recovery program, the Will County Health Department, the Elmhurst College Counseling Center, and Linden Oaks Behavioral Health Hospital. Dr. Romano has a comprehensive range of clinical experience, primarily providing services to adolescents, adults, and older adults across a wide range of symptom presentations. He practices from evidence based theoretical orientations, including cognitive and third wave cognitive behavioral therapies, to treat symptoms associated with anxiety and mood disorders. Dr. Romano provides individual and group therapy services, as well as psychological testing for a variety of referral questions.
Dr. Romano is the recipient of the 2017 Dr. Wendell Carpenter Award for Professionalism and Diversity.
