Theresa Towle, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC is a Doctorally-Prepared, Dual Certified Family & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with vast experience in caring for a variety of patients. She is dedicated to working with clients in developing a holistic approach to care. 

Theresa Towle uses evidence-based techniques to treat mind and body, including addressing the roles of inflammation and the gut-brain axis in anxiety, depression, trauma, attention issues, binge eating and a host of other issues. Her vast experience has brought her to understand that emotional, spiritual and mental health are key to physical well-being, emotional balance and overall life satisfaction. As a nurse, she has worked with children and adults being treated throughout the spectrum of medical subspecialties. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she has also worked with the physical, social and spiritual issues faced by Native Americans and other underserved populations.    

Theresa Towle is a graduate of Rush University College of Nursing (DNP), University of St. Francis (PMHNP), St. Xavier University (MSN-FNP), University of Chicago (Clinical Trials Management) and Indiana University (BSN).  In addition to clinical practice, she is an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago.  She enjoys collaborating with the psychiatrists and therapists at Genesis, as well as numerous outside providers and is willing to work with your provider to ensure seamless continuity of care.
